Writing:
I like to write. I think it’s probably my favorite thing to do besides thinking about writing things. You can find my writing at NPA Think Tank, here. The professional writer in me gets its thrills writing the Bottom Line feature for Physical Therapy Journal, which are conveniently podcast here on iTunes. I also write academically, though I’ve just begun that and so my list of referenced works are…let’s just say pending. Though you can be sure that I’ll link to them straight away when available!!
I make quite a bit of content for online educational modules ranging from independent training modules to continuing education courses, post-professional distance-based training, and content for my university teaching roles. I have experience working with all the major course management systems, wiki development, and facilitating online discussions and interactions between learners.
I also contribute to the Evidence in Motion blog.
Research:
I do research in the fields of orthopaedic manual therapy and web technology. I currently have projects underway investigating the relationship between hip motion and low back pain, and the manner in which physical therapists interact with the internet and web tools as part of the larger evolution of Health 2.0.
